1. Scope and Responsible Operator
This Notice describes how EULBURG Additive Manufacturing handles personal information for the public EULBURG website, business inquiries, and related business records. “EULBURG,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean EULBURG Additive Manufacturing.
This Notice does not govern a third party's independent site or service. A transaction, employment relationship, or separately identified service may require additional privacy information.
2. Information We Handle
Depending on the interaction, EULBURG may handle:
(a) business contact information, including company, name, business email, telephone number, country or region, role, and communications;
(b) inquiry and quotation information, including product or service interest, quantity, timing, expected volume, NDA request, and the general nonconfidential project information a user chooses to provide;
(c) website and security information, including request and server information, apparent Internet Protocol address, origin or referring information, a browser-session cookie, an anti-forgery token, anti-abuse timing data, and IP-derived rate-limit records;
(d) correspondence, quotation, customer, order, shipping, support, quality, compliance, and other business records created if an inquiry develops into a business relationship; and
(e) records needed to answer a privacy request, protect rights and systems, preserve a claim, or meet an applicable requirement.
The current public quote form does not request payment-card or bank information and does not provide a file-upload field.
3. Sources
EULBURG receives information from the person or business that provides it; from use of the website; from customers, suppliers, providers, or other counterparties involved in an identified inquiry or transaction; and from records created while administering website, security, inquiry, support, or transaction activity.
4. Purposes
EULBURG uses personal information as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website; prevent abuse; evaluate and respond to inquiries; prepare quotations and proposed scopes; form, administer, fulfill, support, document, or enforce a business relationship; maintain proportionate business, quality, safety, security, and compliance records; meet applicable legal or preservation requirements; and establish, exercise, or defend claims.
Depending on applicable law and the facts, processing may be based on a request, a contract or requested pre-contract steps, EULBURG's legitimate business and security purposes, an applicable legal obligation, protection of rights or safety, or consent where required. Not every basis or privacy law applies to every interaction.
5. Service Providers and Other Recipients
EULBURG may provide information to service providers that host or support designated website, email, communications, security, or professional functions. Information may also be provided to authorized EULBURG personnel; customers, suppliers, carriers, advisers, insurers, testing or technical providers, and other participants as reasonably necessary for an identified inquiry or transaction; a permitted business successor; or an authority or other recipient where required by applicable law, valid process, protection of rights or safety, or claim handling.
A third party that operates its own linked site or service may handle information under its own notice.
6. Hosting and Processing Locations
EULBURG uses managed hosting in Germany for the public website, business email, and related website services. EULBURG and its service providers may process personal information in Germany and the United States. Privacy rules and governmental access may differ between the two countries.
7. Retention
Retention depends on the purpose, information category, relationship, system, and applicable legal, recordkeeping, dispute, security, safety, or preservation needs. Relevant factors include an active inquiry or business relationship, transaction and support administration, product or quality records, abuse prevention, and backup limitations.
When appropriate and reasonably practicable, disposition may include deletion, deidentification, or another suitable method. This Notice does not promise deletion on a fixed schedule or removal of every copy where retention is required, a legal hold applies, or deletion is not reasonably practicable.
8. Security
EULBURG uses administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information and relevant service. Depending on the service, those safeguards may include access controls, session and request-security controls, input checks, anti-abuse measures, and managed-hosting controls. Project-specific security, transfer, retention, and restricted-data requirements must be agreed in writing before information is provided.
No safeguard, transmission, storage, or system is completely secure. This Notice does not state that EULBURG is certified to a security standard or that a particular control covers every system or interface.
9. Public Inquiry Boundary
Use the public form only for routine business contact information, product or service interest, quantity and timing information, and a general nonconfidential project description. Do not submit confidential technical files or detailed nonpublic technical information through the form or ordinary email. If binding confidentiality is needed, request an NDA and approved channel through info@eulburg.com. Do not send that information until the applicable NDA is signed, EULBURG confirms the channel in writing, and any required project controls are in place.
Do not submit classified information, ITAR-controlled technical data, controlled unclassified information, or other specially restricted information through an ordinary channel. EULBURG may decline a request to handle it. No exception is authorized unless EULBURG first provides written, project-specific confirmation identifying the exact category, approved scope and channel, and controls implemented and validated before receipt. A form, checkbox, NDA, email, or encryption method does not by itself establish approval or capability.
10. Questions and Requests
Depending on applicable law, a person may have rights concerning personal information. A particular right may not apply in every jurisdiction, relationship, or circumstance, and applicable law may permit or require EULBURG to retain or withhold information.
Send a privacy question or request to privacy@eulburg.com and identify it as a privacy matter. Do not include confidential technical files or specially restricted information. EULBURG may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity, authority, scope, and the systems involved and will respond as applicable law requires.
11. Changes
Each released version of this Notice will state its effective date. EULBURG may update the Notice prospectively to reflect changes in practices, services, providers, or applicable requirements. The displayed version and date identify the current public text.
